Team UPL
Story
Hi there!
Team UPL consists of Sebastian Leith, Ashlin Rodman and Shaun Cleary and we're riding 400km for Active Farmers, across 3 days in Tassie!
Active Farmers is an organisation making a real difference in remote farming communities, using group fitness sessions to bring entire rural communities together in a fun and interactive environment, helping to combat loneliness and mental illness in the bush.
We are riding approximately 160km, 150km and 90km between 24-26 March 2022, around the Meander Valley, Northern Midlands and East & West Tamar regions of Northern Tasmania.
This is Active Farmers' major fundraising event, and money raised will go toward continuing their program in small farming communities, especially smaller groups in more remote areas where full cost recovery is not always feasible, as well as supporting existing and new Active Farmers communities around Australia.
We really appreciate your support. Donations made through this platform are secure and tax deductible. Help our farming communities (the people who feed our country!) build resilience and community in what can be a very lonely place otherwise.
Thanks so much for your support!
Active Farmers Ltd.
Active Farmers, a registered Not For Profit Organisation and Healthy Charity, brings together farmers and other locals in small farming communities through group fitness in a fun and interactive environment. Designed especially for farmers with limited or no local access to fitness expertise and equipment, Active Farmers provides motivational, challenging and fun training sessions to help promote great physical health and mental wellbeing, and that suit all levels of fitness and experience. Active Farmers also provides a range of other services to complement our ultimate aim of improving mental health in regional areas, including nutrition, mindfulness, and access to mental health specialists online.
